I am what you are
Yet only am I me,
UsooMe
Free to be
Between myself
And tht which you perceive.
UsooMe
Infinitely Different and
Intrinsically Similar,
I am Simile and Metaphor
To the structure of a Human, Being
UsooMe
Sculpted by the hands of This
Circumstance, Grown of a squiggly seed
From my Father’s autonomous factory,
Received into my mother’s soil,
Parasitic I would feed on her,,
Spoiled in her womb I sprouted
Limbs, Began to thicken,
UsooMe
Born Normally, A C-Section
Baby, face pudgy, eyes wide,
Cut from the chord, I cried
UsooMe
Just like you.
Born of two, Raised into One,
Infinitely Different and
Intrinsically Similar,
The fabrics sewn are all the same,
It’s the Treatment that severs into Maturation,
Each event lleaves it’s own Imprint
The shapes all independent, We are one
Word,
UsooMe
To be Human and in need to hold this truth,
I am what you are,
Yet only am I me,
UsooMe
Real in between the dreams
Of non-existence, Feeling everything I can
Before my light’s extinguished, stealing Knowledge
As I Find it, Fighting for wrongs to be righted,
Writing songs and hoping people like it,
UsooMe,
Simply I am Human, born of man and woman,
Taught to walk and talk and see, I utilize these sense
Efficiently, progressive, out-of-the-box and introspective
Each path I choose is a new influence, That’s how I’ve learned
To know how I think, you’d think the same if you were me,
Tables turned positions switched, One of us still must be
Michael Frederick Whinery.
UsooMe
Parallel to you
With infinity in Between
The two, combined, The Three
Becomes the Us and Me
UsooMe
